I approach my work within the framework of Positive Psychology and teach Mental Fitness skills you will use to stay healthy. Positive psychology is the scientific study of optimal functioning. It seeks to identify the strengths and skills that enable individuals and communities to thrive. Positive psychotherapists do not see people as broken, or as having something missing. Rather, they see all people as having the potential to thrive given the right skills, strengths, and social context (Kashdan and Ciarrochi, 2013).
As a wholistic contemplative based therapist, my goal is to help clients heal from trauma, uncover their true potential, and create a life that is worth celebrating. Together, we work to better understand and resolve your current life-challenges and plot a course for your future.
